Competition in Greek coastal shipping is strengthening at a time when the industry is facing financial problems.
Minoan Lines will expand its operations to the Chania market, intensifying competition with ANEK which dominates the Souda, Chania, port.
Minoan Lines have applied to operate the Chania-Piraeus route from April 1st 2012,
using two car-passenger ships, the Olympic Palace and the Europa Palace.
